WeBook Publishing is excited to welcome its founder and CEO, author Ana Silvani, to two literary events in the U.S. with a fun and poetic new release in Brazilian Portuguese, Amor em Sagitário. The first launch took place at the WeBook Author Panel at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles last Saturday, September 6, 2025. An upcoming one is scheduled for New York City at the Consulate General of Brazil on September 11, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
A Book About Love and Self-Discovery
Ana Silvani’s second book, Amor em Sagitário, is a collection blending poetry, prose, and essayistic reflection. With the characteristic honesty of Sagittarians, she explores love in its many forms: from romantic enchantment to the ache of loss, guiding the reader through a journey of self-discovery, vulnerability, and the longing for belonging.
The writing, marked by a stream-of-consciousness style and powerful metaphors, challenges social conventions and questions human contradictions with courage and sensitivity.
“I believe in love and that humans are essentially good (even when they prove otherwise). I’m a Pollyanna. I hope my writing challenges social conventions by reflecting on our contradictions and pain with courage and sensitivity,” Silvani said.
Essayistic Reflections About Life
The book also reflects powerful life experiences, such as grief, the pandemic, and the immigrant experience, offering a unique perspective on identity and freedom. Between the Sagittarian impulse for adventure and the introspection brought on by confinement, Silvani paints a raw and honest portrait of someone who loves deeply, even when afraid of surrender. Love in Sagittarius (the upcoming title in English) is, above all, an invitation to feel and to recognize oneself in the relentless search for truth, connection, and meaning.
The WeBook Author Panel is a book tour and a celebration of diverse voices and cross-cultural storytelling. Alongside Ana Silvani, the event will also feature authors Vivi Duarte, Rafa Brites, and Cris Casagrande, creating a powerful lineup of creative women who explore themes of identity, resilience, and healing through their work.
All attendees will have the chance to hear directly from the authors, engage in meaningful conversations, and purchase signed copies of their books.
